Psychosexual Therapy offers a confidential, professional space to explore what’s happening and to rediscover pleasure, confidence and connection.
Sexual challenges can arise for many different reasons, including physical health issues, anxiety, stress, or past experiences. Whatever the cause, these issues can impact relationships and self-esteem. Our goal is to provide a safe, understanding, and professional environment where you can explore your experiences and work towards positive, lasting change.

Psychosexual Therapy it’s a specialist evidence-based form of talking therapy designed to help individuals and couples overcome sexual difficulties and improve intimacy. Psychosexual therapy focuses on resolving sexual challenges through sensitive conversation, guided exercises, and reflective exploration. It can support both individuals and couples who wish to understand and improve their sexual relationships, physical comfort, or confidence.
Therapy begins with a comprehensive history your experiences, background and any contributing factors. From there, we create a tailored treatment plan that fits your goals, values, and pace.
Psychosexual Therapists follow the COSRT code of ethics set by COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists). This means our therapists do not perform physical examinations and there is no physical touch between therapist and client.
Should your therapist feel it would be beneficial to refer you to a specialist or your GP for further investigations, they will discuss that with you.

All therapy is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and inclusive of all sexualities, genders, and abilities. Our psychosexual therapists are experienced in addressing a wide range of sexual and relational difficulties, including:
This is not the same as sex addiction therapy, which focuses on a 12 step approach and cessation of porn use but it looks at the issues of problematic sexual behaviour in a non-shaming way. Compulsive Sexual Behaviour(CSB) may show up as multiple affairs, hypersexuality, out of control sexual behaviour such as prolonged use of pornography, or concerns about sexual practices that may be dangerous or escalating in a way that concerns the client. CSB uses a 3 stage model to help clients firstly stabilise themselves from continuing with the problematic behaviour and helping clients to emotionally regulate themselves.
Phase 2, is the treatment phase, working with the issues of compulsivity, and understanding why the behaviour is problematic. This phase will also work through any traumas that may be part of the problematic behaviour
Phase 3, is the reconsolidation and making meaning out of what has happened. This is where change takes places and looking towards living a life with a better understanding and a reduction of the behaviours.
Compulsive sexual behaviour is also for the partners of someone who has out of control sexual behaviour. We can offer compassionate therapy around betrayal trauma, and rebuilding of the relationship, or working through the pain and grief of a relationship now at an end.

Reaching out can feel difficult — and we understand that. You can contact us in complete confidence, and every enquiry is treated with sensitivity and discretion. Whether you have questions or are ready to take the next step, we’re here to listen and support you in your own time.
